FOR SOME YEARS I have resisted revising this book. It has been very successful over the last twenty years, and I don't want to make it worse. It has done well around the world, and wherever I go people come up and tell me that the book has been of value to them.
It has even earned me some respect in the eyes of my brother, Jim. He was in a meeting a while back with some nuns in a Catholic service agency. One of the nuns asked him if he was Peter Block's brother and when he confessed that he was, the nun held up her copy of the book and proclaimed, "In my work, this book is my Bible!"
