Introduction
Drucker’s work on knowledge is probably some of his most profound and prescient. He approached the topic from many different directions, looking at the changing nature of knowledge itself and its ability to change society for better or worse. He also closely analyzed the changing role of knowledge in society and its impact on work, workers, and social problems. While Drucker is well-known for coining the term “knowledge work,” his own writing and thinking on the subject of knowledge is much more broad and far-ranging.
