Learning about a new operating system usually includes knowing a bit about the components that comprise it. Look at it this way. When you go to your auto mechanic, you expect that he’ll know something about the engine, electrical system, and computers that make the car work. He may not know everything about every car component, but you expect him to know enough to fix your car given he has the proper tools and reference books to research answers.
