In the minds of some people, the Internet has become a virtual singles bar—a place to meet new people and exchange ideas. I don’t go more than a day or two without receiving some type of lonely-hearts advertisement in my e-mail. Other people view the Internet as just another source of information for their favorite hobby or form of entertainment.
