INTRODUCTION

Vitamins are the essential nutritional factors and potent organic compound requires great care to control their quality of their formulations.

CLASSIFICATION

They are mainly classified into two classes based on their solubility. They are as follows:

  1. Water soluble vitamins.

    Example: Vitamins B and C

  2. Oil soluble vitamins.

    Example: Vitamins A, D, E and K
