13.2. Reliability
Reliability is the degree to which multiple measurements on asubject agree. Typically this includes establishing appropriate levels of inter-rater reliability, test-retest reliability, and internal consistency. Inter-rater reliability is an assessment of the agreement between different raters' scores for the same subject at the same point in time. Test-retest reliability summarizes the consistency between different measurements on the same subject over time. Intra-rater reliability is a special case of test-retest reliability where measurements are obtained by the same rater over time on the same subject.
