1.1 A few words about history
We need to think about how we got here. Today, cybersecurity is a state, political, and even military problem. However, this is an area where – thanks to individual skills and devoted time – to a certain extent, specialist knowledge, information, and experience can be acquired by people who do not belong to the “formal” expert circles. Many techniques and methods in cybersecurity were developed and used by various “interest groups”. We will not use the word “amateurs”, because how can you call someone who has a broad knowledge and is actually a specialist an “amateur”?
