The Idea
Most people associate long exposures with nighttime because the lighting conditions at night are ideal for this. But, with the right equipment, it is perfectly possible to shoot long exposures during the day and capture some stunning images.
Market Square
I took this shot of a market square with an ND8 fitter and a 1-second exposure. Any people who stood still for that second appear frozen in time, but anyone who was moving has become a trail of color
