What is your current position?
I’m currently a freelance photojournalist in the Twin Cities area (Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn).
Why did you decide to become a photographer, and what background did you bring to your profession?
Looking back, I always had a camera in my hands as a child, so I had the desire to document events even back then. It didn’t occur to me that I would be able to make a living doing something I loved so much. Taking photos just seemed to be a hobby.
