The commercial photography industry has been radically reshaped by recent events, such as changes to digital technology, rights grabs, and a long period of recession. One sector of the photography industry that hasn’t been so badly affected is the fine art market. Here it is in everyone’s interest that the photographer retain copyright, and at the top end photographers are commanding high-figure sums for their work.
