The Color of Light
Light has color, which comes from the way the light is produced. The color of the light has a much bigger impact when photographing indoors or under the stadium lights than it does when shooting outdoors under sunlight. Our eyes and brains are amazing things—they take the different color of the light and automatically adjust how we see it. For example, if you took a piece of white paper and held it up outside under noontime sunlight, it would look white. Take that same piece of paper and hold it up next to an incandescent bulb, and after a second or two it would look white as well. The same thing does not happen with your camera.
