Chapter 8: Create Unique Images with Filters and Special Effects

You can use the tools in Photoshop to create new and unique images that were difficult or impossible to create with earlier processes using film or traditional darkroom techniques. Many of these tools are located in the Filters menu, but others are available throughout the program. No filter or special effect can turn an uninteresting photo into a great one, but it can turn a good photo into one that is unique and visually captivating.
