I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

On some level, aren’t all these classic effects photographic effects? I mean, this is Photoshop, right? It’s all about photos, isn’t it? Not so, my fast-to-judge friend. There are other classic effects that use no photos at all. What are these called? Lame effects. All right, they’re not lame. They’re type effects, but just about every other effect is photographic, so that’s what we’re celebrating in this chapter—the ubiquitousness of photographic effects (by the way, I have no way of knowing if “ubiquitousness” is really a word, but if it’s not, don’t you think it should be?).
