3.4. Creating Presentations

Bridge is great for viewing and organizing your image collection. It's also great for providing you with a number of snazzy ways to show off your images to other people. Use Bridge to present a slide show of your photos, get them into a PDF file, or create a professional-looking Web gallery.

Creating a photo slide show couldn't be easier. From the View menu, choose Slideshow or press Ctrl+L/.cmd;+L on your keyboard. You can set up options such as the length of the interval between images and which transition to use in the ViewSlideshow Options menu.

3.4.1. Using the Output workspace

Newly revamped for Bridge in CS4 is the Adobe Media Gallery feature, which is now known as the Output workspace. Use the options in the Output workspace (shown in Figure 3.12) to export a PDF presentation of your photographs or create a professional-quality, Flash-based Web gallery (or an HTML version, if you prefer), which you can then upload to an ftp server.

3.4.1.1. PDF Presentation

The PDF option in Output offers you the option of creating either a regular multi-page PDF or a PDF Presentation, which will automatically launch into a full-screen slide show when opened. Use the following steps to create a PDF with Bridge's Output workspace:
