Look beyond the obvious. How many of us have a digital camera and find ourselves with a whole bunch of images that just take up space on the memory card? I think we all have at some point. So, one day, I decided that I would force my creative mind to make something out of nothing. As a designer, I use photography as a big part of my work. However, unlike a normal photographer, I look at things differently, as I encourage you to do. Change your perspective on the world and look at things differently. Notice textures, shapes, patterns, and even negative space, and grab them with whatever you have—your phone, a DSLR camera, or even a point-and-shoot.
