3. Joints and 90-Degree Angles

It’s often said that the first step in resolving a problem is knowing what the problem is. For some years, I was frustrated not understanding the problem with my posing technique. Photo shoot after photo shoot, I could not figure out why my subjects looked tense instead of relaxed. And why did I feel uneasy when viewing my photographs?

The culprit was my lack of knowledge about how 90-degree angles affect a pose. I never paid attention to this, and it took me many photo shoots to figure it out.
