Week 3—Find and Attract Followers

While there’s a lot about Pinterest that differentiates it from other social media channels, there’s one way in which it is absolutely the same: the need to create a following. Much like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Tumblr, and the rest of the social media world, a Pinterest user without followers is an island unto themselves. The site stops functioning as a collective opportunity to explore the Web and starts operating solely as an image-based bookmarking website.
