DIGITAL IDENTITY

IT IS OBVIOUS to say that BD at startups takes place mostly by using technology: for example, emails, tweets, and LinkedIn messages. As a result, it is critical that you as a partnerships professional have a robust, yet curated digital identity. Whether it’s getting a job in BD, closing a deal, working with a partner, or networking, the first course of action anyone takes when meeting another person is to look him up online. A simple Google search turns into browsing social media and other public forums for tidbits and a leg up on understanding the other person.
