The in-house model which has been promoted in previous chapters is a good model. Furthermore, it is a straightforward model for which the required skills are fairly clear cut. In addition, when putting together the core public key infrastructure (PKI) team, these will be easy skills to demonstrate at the time of interview, and so, the organisation may have a reasonable confidence as to the capabilities of those being recruited.
