Meetings usually have one or more special events or activities for their attendees. A special event may be any event or function other than the basic educational meeting sessions. Special events may include spouse and family programs (which occur while the attendee is in session) or events held aside from the general educational sessions (which may or may not include the attendee).
Special events include but are in no way limited to the following:
•Golf or tennis tournaments
•On- or off-premises dinners
•Dinner and dancing
•Any and all theme parties
