Chapter 1: Routines

Regular daily family life is full of repetitive and often boring chores. As our family has grown, I’ve learned a lot about being a parent and running a household. The most useful tip I’ve learned from my insight into parenthood has been to plan whatever you can so that when the unpredictable realities of family life arise they’re much easier to cope with. This insight has been my main inspiration for creating simple routines and guidelines for managing our daily life. They’ve helped me to manage the high volume of repetitive household chores, and freed up time for more fun activities such as playing with the kids.
