Chapter 9: Your Partner

My husband works full time in a corporate job in the city. Although his work hours vary, he usually leaves the house at 7.30 am and returns around 7.00 pm. Thankfully, it’s only on very rare occasions that he has to work on weekends. His working hours mean we have to make the most of the short time together in the evenings before the kids go to bed. Having the younger kids bathed and in their pyjamas ready for bed when he comes home means he has time for a cuddle with the toddler before he goes off to bed and time to chat and read stories with the older kids.
