Chapter 13: Stress-free birthday parties
I love kidsâ birthday parties. I have fond memories of my own and going to my friendsâ houses for parties as a child. In recent years thereâs been a growing trend towards outsourcing kidsâ parties. While these types of parties are lots of fun, they donât always suit our family budget or philosophy. We usually choose to stay with the traditional home birthday party.
The thought of having 15 kids ready to party on your doorstep can be a little terrifying, but with some planning Iâve been able to keep within the family budget and spread out the work involved so itâs enjoyable for the kids and doesnât drive me insane!
