Abstract
After discussions on hazard analysis and risk assessment technique, various relevant standards have been discussed here so that further discussions on safety instrumentation will be meaningful. The discussion starts with principles framework and process of ISO 31000. Discussions also include the standard for various plant hazard systems, for these international standard IECs are the basis.
