Fire and gas (F&G) detection and prevention systems are critical in maintaining overall safety. Fire and gas system (FGS) are very important tools for safeguarding all plants and production facilities, especially those handle flammable and toxic materials. Facilities with inherent fire risk require the installation of FGS to mitigate these hazards. Offshore/onshore oil and gas facilities, refineries, chemical plants, tank farms and terminals, pipelines, and power plants are examples of a few facilities where FGS are extremely important (it in no case means that elsewhere these are not important).
