1.0. General
In the area of plant hazard analysis and safety instrumented system, business process definitions are tremendously helpful in process analysis and system automation. It is obvious that in order to contemplate how best to support the clear understanding of risk assessment processes, and how to use this understanding to support an orderly discipline of engineering of these processes, a clear and effective engineering of processes should provide strong support for better engineering of the systems that support the processes.
