chapter nine
Film Handling and Processing
NOW WHAT?
Now that you've run a few rolls of film through your plastic camera, what do you do with your exposed film?
PROCESSING FILM
The Diana and the Holga, and most of the cameras in this book, still live in the world of film, the analog world. Even if the rest of your final image-making process is going to be digital, it's important to give careful attention to the negatives. Your choice of film and method of processing have a great impact on the success of your shooting and play critical roles in achieving your artistic vision. At the end of this chapter and in Chapters 10 and 11, there's more information about final options in the image-making stage.
