Mini Case Study
These XML chapters not only give you a foundation for further work with XML, but also develop a simple case study that uses several XML technologies.
If you follow along and carry out the examples, you will learn how to use a few of the currently available XML tools and will also begin to see how to put XML technologies to practical use in producing Web content.
I suggest that you just read the Mini Case Study the first time through. However, if you absolutely can't wait to get your hands dirty and begin working with XML, you will need to get some tools together, install them on your computer, and make sure they are working.
