XML Tools
Hopefully, you will choose to follow along with the XML Mini Project from Chapter 10 and with the other examples you will see in the next few chapters. To do that, you will need some basic tools, some of which you might already possess.
Tip
All the examples in the XML section of this book can be constructed using only these three tools, which are available for free on Windows 9x machines:
Windows Notepad
Internet Explorer 5.0 (make sure you have the latest download from Microsoft.com)
Instant Saxon, an XSLT processor described later
You are, of course, free to work the examples using other equivalent tools, some of which are briefly discussed here.
