This is a W3C standards initiative that may be particularly important for small businesses on the Web whose line of business is information.
One of the key benefits of the World Wide Web is that it has removed barriers to innovation in business. Perhaps the most important single barrier that has been removed is the financial one. A Web site, albeit a basic one, can be established with amounts of capital that would be derisory in the context of conventional business.
