Building XML Skills
These chapters have given you an overview of the "big picture" of the sheer variety of XML-related technologies that are available and already working, as well as others that are only now emerging. They have also introduced you to some fundamental skills on which you can build.
Inevitably, because of limitations of space, the examples use only relatively simple code. For pedagogical reasons the examples are also fairly short, whereas real-life use of XML will involve files that are much longer.
