Configuring and Managing the WWW Service
The basic WWW Web service comes with a default Web page already installed in folder c:\inetpub\wwwroot. By default, if you use the NTFS file system, only Computer Administrators have write access to this folder. If you will be maintaining the Web site using a different user account, you may wish to start by granting that account write permission in this folder, using Windows Explorer. (If you will only ever manage the Web site using FrontPage or Office XP, you can let the Permissions Wizard take care of this when you configure the FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions later on.)
