Most networks today do not use a single network operating system or hardware platform. Indeed, the larger the business entity, the more likely you are to run into a network that includes NetWare, Unix, and Linux servers along with Windows NT and the Windows 2000 Server and Windows Server 2003 families, all supporting PCs running every version of Windows from 95 on up.
