Internetworking with Novell NetWare

NetWare is the oldest PC network operating system still commonly used today. NetWare had the majority of the networking market share until Windows NT/2000 came along. While some think that NetWare will slowly go away, there are those who point to Apple, which was also predicted to vanish under the Microsoft steamroller, but which is still alive and kicking. Novell continues to vigorously develop and enhance NetWare. The widely used NetWare Directory Services (NDS) is now called the eDirectory. Many new features, such as the Internet Printing Protocol-based iPrint service, make NetWare an attractive alternative to Windows for enterprise networking.
