DISTORTIONS, WARPS, TILING, AND TIME EFFECTS
This chapter is all about having fun with your video, being able to twist, turn, and deform your video footage, all in the name of art! Using distortion and warp filters, you can create lively abstract images or simulate disturbing sequences.
Still images, perhaps ones you have created in Illustrator, can be given life and a real-life look with the aid of distortion filters. For example, a simple image of a flag just doesn’t look real moving back and forth on designated planes, but add a warp and a ripple, and that flag really comes to life! Your viewers will never know the scene wasn’t shot under a giant flagpole.
