AUTOMATION AND KEYFRAME GENERATORS
The beauty of After Effects is that almost anything can be keyframed and be unique. Keyframing certain effects can be time-consuming and intense. Several third-party developers have included automation tools in the plug-ins. Some ship with animated presets too. This chapter looks at only the tools that either automate animation or generate keyframes for you, making your workflow faster, smoother, and all round better.
There are excellent plug-ins to animate parameters to the audio spectrum, and others to automate photomontages, the iTunes Coverflow effect, and the Ken Burns style pan and zooms. These plug-ins can save you an enormous amount of time.
