As part of carrying out the tasks associated with executing the project, the primary guidelines for the work to be completed are contained in the various plans and baselines. Of these, the scope baseline that comprises the scope statement, WBS, and WBS dictionary gives the best description of the work to be done as part of the executing tasks. A secondary description of work to be done on the project comes in the form of approved change requests.
