Of all the executing tasks the project manager must take responsibility for performing on a project, perhaps the most important are focused on leading, mentoring, training, and motivating team members. Project team members complete the project work, so a project manager must lead them effectively to ensure that the work is completed. There is probably nothing more important than being able to effectively lead, mentor, train, and motivate team members to achieve maximum performance.
