Task 5: Assess corrective actions on the issue register and determine next steps for unresolved issues by using appropriate tools and techniques, in order to minimize the impact on project schedule, cost, and resources.

This domain task uses the issue register, or log, as a starting point and ensures that documented corrective actions are undertaken to resolve issues and stop them from escalating. If issues do escalate, they might involve recording them on the project watch list or risk register and developing specific risk responses for them.
