Chapter 7. Draw: Not Your Father’s Drawing Board

Draw is a vector graphics drawing tool. You learned a bit about it in Chapter 4, “OOo Draw: Documents with Imagination.” Now it’s time to see what you can do with Draw beyond basic photo alteration and making simple line drawings.

Because Draw is integrated into the OpenOffice.org suite, it’s easy to exchange graphics with all the components of OOo. For example, if you are creating a newsletter in Writer and you need to spice up the boss’s photo, you can use images and shapes in Draw to create some neat effects.
