Chapter 6. Prepare for Technology Success

Situation today: People take the technology marvels available to them for granted. They work on computers as if they will not break. They assume that the PowerPoint version they have on their laptops will work with anyone's laptop. Many people don't even know what version of PowerPoint they are using. They sometimes don't take a backup in case the computer crashes.

Key problems:

When your computer crashes just before a presentation, you are not prepared. You don't have it on a USB drive and you don't have hard copy. Even if you do have a file of your talk, it may not work on someone else's computer.
