Chapter 6. Policy Validation and Translation Algorithms

This chapter takes a closer look at algorithms that are relevant to the policy validation and translation module of a policy management tool. This module is involved with the validation of high-level policies and the translation of high-level policies into low-level policies.

As mentioned in the previous chapters, the main goal of an organization is to ensure meeting its business objectives (for example, performance SLAs), which are defined by the high- level policies.
