As we have seen in previous chapters, embracing modern paradigms for digital transformation, such as DevOps, the cloud, and automation, is necessary.
PolicyOps embodies some of the DevOps principles by enabling automation, repeatability, and transparency in policies, and as discussed in the previous chapter it allows the organization to align its business objectives with digital policies.
This chapter will detail a framework that can be used to create policies from their inception to their creation and demise. This framework is an abstraction on top of the topics we covered in the first chapter. The goal is to simplify and allow anyone to use the framework through a simple four-step methodology.
