Abstract
Contaminated industrial construction and demolition (C&D) waste will inevitably be mixed with clean waste and transferred into nearby surroundings in collection, stacking, transportation, disposing, and recycling sections without any source identification and reduction of pollutants. Both in situ identification and sampling–lab analysis based on the sampling methods and identification guidance values are feasible. This waste can be divided into ordinary waste, waste slightly contaminated by heavy metals or organic pollutants, and hazardous waste according to the guidance values presented.
