Abstract:
Over the past 30 years Raman spectroscopy has transformed the field of composite micromechanics and is being successfully applied to the field of nanotube-reinforced polymers. Under the effects of stress, careful study of the Raman spectrum of carbon nanotubes provides a unique insight into various physical phenomena in nanocomposites.
