So you’ve made a bunch of earrings, and you have all this extra clay. Now what? Polymer clay is a plastic-based substance, so it is best not to simply toss it in the trash. The good news is, clay doesn’t go bad. If properly stored, it can last a long time. In this section, we will talk about getting creative with your scrap clay.

The first tip I can share is to utilize your whole slab. Use every bit of clay surface on your slab to make earrings. Fit as many as possible, and when you can’t fit any more, see if you have a small cutter that you can use to make stud earrings.
