Abstract

The chapter provides an overview on the multiaxial fatigue behavior of continuous fiber reinforced composite materials based on recent experimental results as well as on those coming from an extensive literature investigation. Life prediction criteria available in the literature are illustrated and the reliability of their estimations is discussed. Future developments in the subjects are outlined.
