I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As was covered in previous chapters, plastics find important applications for commodity products such as textiles, tires, and packaging. Polymers, particularly thermosets, also find widespread use for composite applications in the automotive, marine, and aerospace industries. Many of these markets have now matured so future growth is expected to be small; however, there are many more applications for polymers that may be less obvious but have great potential and offer challenges for new technologies and growth.
