Power System Modeling under Nonsinusoidal Operating Conditions
Abstract
Presents power system modelling under non-sinusoidal operating conditions. It includes review of power system matrices, triangular factorization, and forward- and backward- substitutions. Thereafter, the Newton-Raphson fundamental load flow algorithm, power-system matrices at harmonic frequencies, and the Newton-Raphson harmonic power flow formulation are presented. Subsequently, a survey and classification of harmonic power flow approaches are given. 19 application examples with solutions are presented, and 8 application-oriented problems are included.
