Abstract
Applications for high-power ultrasonics are widespread, and aspects such as cleaning are well established in the manufacturing industry, particularly in automotive, aerospace, medicine, and semiconductors. Yet, there remains a long-standing deficit of standardized methods and parameters for users to describe cavitating systems, and this impacts on system design, realization, optimization, and quality assurance.
